HOW TO ENABLE TWO-STEP VERIFICATION IN YAHOO MAIL?

STEPS TO ENABLE YAHOO TWO-STEP VERIFICATION

Here is how you can enable the two-step verification mode on your Yahoo mail account:

1.    Open the web browser on your computer and go to the Yahoo mail login page. 

2.    Enter your login details and sign in. 

3.    After logging in to your Yahoo mail account, go to the top-right corner of your screen where your profile picture/name is shown. Click on it and a drop-down menu will appear. 

4.    From the drop-down menu, click on the Account info section of your mail. 

5.    From the Account Info action, click on the Account security section in the left-hand side panel.

6.    In the Account section of your Yahoo mail, scroll down to the bottom page of the page to get the two-step verification mode. 

7.    You have the option to secure the account by using either the Security Key or the phone number. 

8.    The Security Key allows you to sign in by tapping on the personal security key. If you choose the option of your phone number, you will access the account by entering the verification code sent on your mobile. 

9.    From the next time you log in to your Yahoo mail, you will be asked to enter the security key or the verification code sent on your mobile number as per the option you’ve chosen.

·         Click on the Learn More option next to the Security Key.

·         Click on the Set Up Key option on the next screen. 

·         Click on the Continue option and follow the instructions given on-screen to set up the Yahoo two-step verification process. 

 

HOW TO SET UP TWO-STEP VERIFICATION USING PHONE NUMBER

·         Click on the Slider button next to the phone number option.

·         Enter the phone number and click on the SMS or the Call Me option to receive the message. 

·         You will receive the Verification code via message/call.

·         Enter the verification code on the screen and click on Verify. 

·         You will get the two-step verification confirmation message. Click on OK.
