Unlink On Android

Step 1: launch your Gmail account on your android device.

Step 2: on the top-left corner, tap on the three dots.

Step 3: Scroll down to the Settings and tap on it.

Step 4: Select the Gmail account you want to unlink from the yahoo account. 

Step 5: Go to the “Linked account” section and click on unlink.

Step 6:  Finally, choose whether to keep the copies or not and click on unlink.

 

The steps followed above are the same for both android phones and tablets.

 

Unlink On iOS

Step 1: On your iOS device, launch your Gmail account.

Step 2:  now, on the top-left corner, tap on the three dots menu.

Step 3: Scroll down to the Settings and tap on it.

Step 4: Select the Gmail account you want to unlink from the yahoo account. 

Step 5: Go to General tab >> Gmailify >> Unlink and confirm unlink.

 

The steps are the same for both the iPhone and iPad. 

 

Note that once you have unliked the account, you can either delete or keep the copies of your yahoo emails in your Gmail account. If you delete, you will still have the emails in your yahoo inbox.
